before their official partnership, they teamed up together on numerous cases.
Pre-2002
cases in which Evan Schaeffer and Andrea Lamere were both
counsel of record included many personal injury settlements,
including individual awards of $3,200,000 and $2,461,000. They also worked together with other lawyers on several
class actions which resulted in many millions of dollars of
benefits to consumers.
Since
forming Schaeffer & Lamere, P.C., Evan Schaeffer and
Andrea Lamere have teamed up with other lawyers to obtain
numerous large settlements and verdicts for their clients, including
settlements of $5,458,000; $5,300,000; $3,000,000; $2,900,000;
$700,000; $400,000; $150,000; and $92,000.
In addition, Evan
Schaeffer and Andrea Lamere, who were among the first lawyers
in the Midwest to prosecute consumer class actions, continue
to litigate class cases, with five recent court-approved settlements including
Jarmon v. National Travel, Melvin v. Ameritech, Wade v. Philips Electronics,
Southard v. St. Anthony's, and Farmer v. Jackson National.
Before
forming Schaeffer & Lamere, P.C., Evan Schaeffer, along
with his former partner, negotiated more than thirty-five individual
personal injury settlements over $1 million as those cases
were being prepared for trial.
