Andrea Lamere

Andrea Lamere received her B.S., Accountancy, from Southern Illinois  University and graduated from St. Louis University School of Law.

Ms. Lamere is an experienced litigator, having represented clients in a wide variety of legal matters.  She has served as co-counsel in numerous products liability lawsuits (particularly those involving the diet drugs fen-phen and Redux) as well as many commercial class actions. Recently, Ms. Lamere's trial of  Springer v. Banks resulted in a jury verdict of $92,000 for her client, who sustained soft tissue injuries in a car accident.  

In 2006, Ms. Lamere was chosen to sit on the Workers' Compensation Law Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association.

Ms. Lamere is licensed to practice in both Illinois (since 1994) and Missouri (since 1992), and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.  She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the Alton-Wood River Bar Association, and the Madison County Bar Association.  She is the co-author of "Valuing and Dividing Pensions and Retirement Plans," a chapter in the National Business Institute's 1996 publication, "Tax Aspects of Divorce."  While in law school, Ms. Lamere worked as a Faculty Fellow for Professor Gerald Dunne and as an intern for Judge Gunn of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
